We carry complete Bianchi Motor Sport (BMS) race ready pocketbikes. These bikes are real race bikes running Pollini powerplants. You will find nothing on the market with the same finish as these precision racers. The difference truly is in the details.
The Bianchi family are expert bicycle frame builders, with numerous championships to their credit. Leveraging their decades of frame tuning expertise, BMS developed a first in pocketbike frames, tuned frame flex. BMS's frames are second to none. They are made 100% of light weight aluminum with the tuned flex that no other frame can match. The BMS frame gives the rider better feel through corners allowing for higher entry and corner speeds. The tuned flex also allows the otherwise rigid frame to absorb bumps that might cause other bikes to loose traction and crash. Keep an eye out at the track, those other bikes will be chattering their wheels off mid-corner while the BMS is as smooth as glass.
While most manufacturers have cast steel or cast aluminum wheels and some manufacturers offer billet aluminum wheels as an upgrade at additional cost, BMS ships every machine with precision five spoke light weight billet aluminum wheels. These wheels are machined from a solid block of aluminum, not cast in an unprecise mold. The machined wheels are precision crafted for perfect balance. This perfect balance prevents wheel chatter and any other balanced related handling problems from slowing you down. Combine these beauties with the tuned flex frame and you will understand why BMS bikes are the known as the best handling bar none. The removable hubs make changing the tires that much easier.
This style of rotor holds a significant advantage over traditional rotor designs. They are lighter in weight, decreasing unsprung mass, allowing for quicker turning. They cool faster, providing more consistent braking power over the course of a race. Brake fade is not an issue with these rotors.
Brakes are your life-line. That is why you will not find pot metal calipers on any BMS bike. By using billet aluminum, BMS has eliminated the wear issues so common to other manufacturers. Bolts will not back themselves out of the caliper due to wear. Holes will not round, causing misalignment and possible brake seizure or other failures. Brake action is consistent and predictable over years. You won't have to worry about a piece breaking off the caliper. Billet aluminum does not break or wear out like pot metal. These are so superior to anything else on the market, racers not running BMS bikes have recognized the superiority of these calipers and have added them on their bikes.
Safety is a concern of every racer. We have unfortunately witnessed riders crashing other brand bikes in which the gas caps have popped off and race fuel has poured out of the tank onto the rider, the bike, and the track. BMS bikes are made to be raced, subsequently, the BMS gas tank's filler neck and gas cap are made of billet aluminum, and threaded. This billet aluminum on billet aluminum threaded connection means that your gas cap will not simply pop off. While we don't encourage you to test the crashability of the BMS bike, it is nice to know that your gas cap is going to stay put.
Again the superior performance of billet aluminum is the reason you will find the the clip-on that holds the handle bar onto the forks is made of billet aluminum. The last thing you want to have happen is to have a clip-on break from metal fatigue or a simple low speed crash. In the unfortunate circumstance that something does break, the BMS two piece design allows for quick single piece replacement, reducing down time and repair cost.
Some bike manufacturers have one piece cast handle bars. The adjustable two piece design used by BMS allows full adjustment of the bar placement; height, angle, length. This gives the rider complete comfort and reduces upper body fatigue.
BMS took note of every piece of their bikes. The rearsets that hold the footpeg onto the frame are also made of billet aluminum. They are lightened to decrease sprung weight while maintaining the strength of solid aluminum through cross-bracing. The rearsets are reversible in direction, allowing two different riding positions, forward or to the rear, to suit the rider's perference and size.
The rider's input into the handlebars is transfered to the forks and front wheel through the triple clamp. It is critical that bearings move gracefully in their races, and nothing prevents smooth movement in the steering head. By machining the triple clamp from solid aluminum, BMS has guaranteed a precise and controlled movement in the steering head. Cast triple clamps have play in them and this inprecision in manufacturing causes slight to severe headshake creating uneven wear and poor handling. The billet aluminum triple clamps are just one more reason why BMS bikes handle better, stay in tune and last longer.
Winning is in the BMS details.
